Technological Accelerator: How INSORTEX is Automating Industries

5 хв читання

INSORTEX has automated over 1,500 production facilities and recently launched production lines in France. Its equipment has become part of the worldʼs first factory that transforms fallen leaves into paper – hereʼs how it works.

Today, the processing industry is becoming a key driver of Ukraineʼs economic development, receiving increasing support at the state level. Poltava entrepreneur Daler Saidov had foreseen this trend when he founded INSORTEX in 2019. His goal was simple yet ambitious: to enhance the production processes of Ukrainian businesses.

Thanks to the high-quality equipment created by INSORTEX, domestic enterprises have gained the ability to process raw materials and manufacture value-added products that meet international standards. In this way, the company contributes to strengthening the economy by stimulating the creation of competitive goods capable of conquering global markets.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic and the full-scale invasion, INSORTEX demonstrates dynamic growth, focusing on innovation and adapting to client needs. Forbes BrandVoice highlights the companyʼs projects that inspire others and exemplify resilience and creativity in Ukrainian business.

How INSORTEX is Elevating Other Businesses to New Heights

In 2019, INSORTEX began its journey by manufacturing equipment for sorting and processing berries. After securing a leading position in this niche, the company started developing automation solutions for businesses across diverse industries. This move responded to the workforce shortage that emerged before the full-scale war but has now escalated into a major crisis.

«Those were challenging times,» Daler Saidov recalls of the business launch. «The coronavirus paralyzed the market, then the full-scale invasion began.»

«But the company persevered, increased production volumes, and expanded its team. The secret to our success lies in our rapid adaptation to the needs of our clients and Ukrainian businesses in general.»

Since then, INSORTEX has significantly expanded its portfolio, creating innovative and practical projects for various sectors:

poultry processing and pre-sale preparation lines;

solid waste sorting complexes;

walnut cleaning and sorting lines;

vacuum marinates for meat;

mushroom blanching equipment;

fruit and vegetable puree processing complexes;

sorting systems for postal companies;

metal detectors;

leisure products, such as loft furniture, hot tubs, and bathing barrels;

heating equipment – including stoves, furnaces, and solid fuel boilers;

urban and rural infrastructure solutions – including bike racks, bus stops, trash bins, street signs, and more.

Daler Saidov summarizes that INSORTEX has automated over 1,500 diverse production facilities since its inception and continuously improves its equipment while expanding its scope of activities. The companyʼs innovation department constantly works on finding new solutions turning bold ideas into reality. Often, the clients inspire INSORTEX with their unconventional challenges, which the company eagerly addresses.

Itʼs worth noting that the companyʼs activities extend far beyond the private sector. INSORTEX collaborates with territorial communities and assists local governments, schools, and hospitals. For instance, the company manufactures essential metal products such as benches, trash bins, carts, ladders, and more, thereby contributing to local infrastructure development.

Why Berry Processing Equipment Became the Main Focus

One of INSORTEXʼs key production areas is creating equipment for sorting and processing berries. Daler Saidov explains this choice was not random: «After analyzing the market, we saw that Ukraine is one of the worldʼs leading berry producers. Every year, the demand for berry crops grows, as does the volume of international trade. This created a need for high-quality equipment to improve product standards and increase production volumes. We responded to this challenge comprehensively by developing solutions for all processing stages of fresh and frozen berries.»

INSORTEX offers a wide range of equipment for agro-processors, covering virtually all key stages of the technological process. The companyʼs arsenal includes over 30 types of high-tech equipment, allowing clients to take a comprehensive approach to agricultural product processing.

INSORTEX equipment ensures a complete technological cycle, from raw material cleaning to final preparation and packaging. This includes various operations: washing and polishing products, drying and grinding, calibration and inspection control, removal of excess impurities, transportation, and photo-separation.

A distinctive feature of the companyʼs offerings is the deep technological sophistication of its solutions. For instance, the equipment not only cleans the product from twigs and leaves but also performs metal detection, X-ray inspection of berries, and precise packaging. This comprehensive approach in equipment creates real opportunities for agricultural enterprises to increase their export potential and produce high-value-added products.

INSORTEX equipment effectively transforms local berry farms into powerful production enterprises with international potential. The key factor contributing to this is the unique approach to each berry crop:

  • Strawberries need to be washed, cleaned of sand, and dried before freezing, then calibrated, packaged, and checked for metal content and other debris that might have entered the package during berry picking and inspection;
  • Raspberries are usually calibrated, crushed, sifted for mold, passed through a photo separator, and checked for metal content;
  • Blueberries need to be separated from the stem, blown free of leaves and small debris, polished, and calibrated;
  • Elderberries must be separated from the cluster;
  • Sea buckthorn needs to be separated from branches;
  • Blueberries need to be calibrated while preserving their bloom, which extends their shelf life.

«Our company has learned all this through firsthand experience and received recommendations while collaborating with Ukraineʼs best agronomists,» shares Daler Saidov. «The constant improvement of equipment, flexible approach, and quick problem-solving has made us one of the leading players in this market.»

The INSORTEX team finds it particularly interesting to observe how their clients actively develop year after year, how the quality of their products improves, and how the added value and productivity of the production process increase. Some producers are just beginning this journey and should consider these new opportunities.

«Everyone usually starts by growing and selling fresh berries, often unsorted, at a minimal price,» Daler Saidov explains the typical path of Ukrainian berry producers. «But eventually, as volumes increase, our clients start thinking about freezing, packaging, and further processing berries into purees, jams, juices, etc. This increases the value and shelf life of the products. As a result, agricultural enterprises scale up and begin export deliveries, which develops Ukraineʼs berry business as a whole.»

How INSORTEX Will Assist the Ukrainian Startup Releaf PAPER in Recycling Fallen Leaves

INSORTEX implements advanced technologies in equipment production for various industries, not just berry processing. The most interesting results will likely be demonstrated in symbiosis with innovative startups.

One such project is the collaboration between INSORTEX and the company Releaf PAPER, the developer of a patented technology for producing paper from fallen leaves. The co-founder of the startup is a young Ukrainian inventor, Valentyn Frechka. Even from a high school science project, he aspired to find a way to obtain cellulose for paper production from raw materials that lie at our feet — fallen leaves. As a result, he managed to invent an economically viable technology for processing this waste, which creates a lot of trouble for cities and towns every autumn.

Industrial line for the production of paper from fallen leaves

The need for specific equipment to scale up the conversion of fallen leaves into paper arose. Therefore, in the spring of 2024, Releaf PAPER approached INSORTEX, requesting to manufacture non-standard equipment and participate in the innovative project – the worldʼs first industrial line for producing paper from fallen leaves.

«The companyʼs engineering department quickly developed and provided a ready-to-use technological process solution, after which the companies signed a contract and began production. After the installation and test launch, the official opening of the worldʼs first industrial cellulose production from fallen leaves occurred on November 14, 2024, in the French town of Le Mûr.»

Daler Saidov about the partnership with Relief PAPER

The INSORTEX engineers created and implemented part of the production line that prepares fallen leaves for processing. Fluffing, cleaning from stones and debris, transportation, and drying are now automated. Thanks to these technologies, Releaf PAPER has taken on the ambitious mission of permanently freeing Paris from the problem of fallen leaves.

This project is not just about technology — itʼs about the future, where Ukrainian innovations set the tone for global trends and become the engine of sustainable development. Who would have thought that fallen leaves could become the material capable of changing the world?
