«Our ecosystem is not shaped by processes, but by people who are focused on results». Marina Ilyina, CEO of PIN-UP Global, about how to effectively manage an ecosystem of seven segments

PIN-UP Global is an international ecosystem of independent companies involved in the life cycle of various entertainment products. It consists of seven directions, each of which has its own unique profile.

The essence of the ecosystem is its self-sufficiency. The need for traditional vertical management disappears, as the needs of some participants are satisfied through the expertise and products of others. In addition, our departments have a common business goal — stable income, sustainable development and scaling.

  • PIN-UP. TECH develops software for the iGaming industry, as well as maintains the infrastructure of the ecosystem in good condition.
  • PIN-UP. BUSINESS provides business process outsourcing services.
  • PIN-UP. CRM is customer relationship management (CRM) services.
  • PIN-UP. TRAFFIC is providing products and services with international traffic.
  • PIN-UP. PLAY represents independent companies operating under the PIN-UP brand in their respective countries.
  • PIN-UP. CARE works with non-profit organizations promoting the principles of social responsibility.
  • PIN-UP. TEAM cares and supports ecosystem professionals.

All directions of the ecosystem interact with each other both as competitors, and as partners. Competition drives continuous improvement of products and services, each direction tries to attract more customers and attract their attention through innovation. At the same time, they can combine their resources, expertise and technology to create new products or services that would be impossible to implement on their own.

Ecosystem development and crisis management

In the conditions of rapid development and formation of the PIN-UP Global structure, one of the most important challenges is the search for professionals. Scaling a business requires a strong team, so we have a clear understanding of the kind of people we need.

A huge challenge for our development as a business originating from Ukraine is, of course, the war. It poses a threat to both people and business. Therefore, we pay special attention to the well-being of our specialists and support the proper functioning of all work processes. We relocate our specialists, provide them with products, medicines, and provide psychological support. We also equipped the Kyiv office with everything necessary for a safe work there.

Our support is not limited with ecosystem specialists. The number of people in need of help is growing every day in Ukraine, that is why we founded the PIN-UP Foundation. Its programs are created to support war-affected Ukrainians and contribute to the countryʼs recovery. We have already allocated over UAH 71.3 million to charity projects. Recently, we launched the operational project LINE-UP: volunteers of our foundation deliver necessary goods to the frontline communities. We have already provided humanitarian kits to seven communities in Kharkiv, Kherson and Donetsk regions, as well as transported humanitarian aid to Kherson to help victims of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP.

In our opinion, business resilience in the face of crisis and global upheavals depends on the ability to interact within the team, adapt and innovate. But the main secret of PIN-UP Globalʼs stability is a professional team. Our ecosystem is not shaped by processes, but by result-oriented people. The academic approach to risk management, constant improvement of skills and adaptability as a prerequisite for efficiency is of a high importance.

Entering new markets

PIN-UP Global is a large-scale business, we are not focused on one thing. Our activity includes IT, development and marketing, everything related to traffic. We have many completely self-sufficient businesses that can merge and interact as needed. PIN-UP Global is represented in six countries of the world, such as Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Cyprus, Armenia, Peru. We plan to open an office in India this year. As an ecosystem, we operate with the concept of geographic presence — the location of the offices of ecosystem participants, where our specialists work. Thanks to this, we not only expand partnerships in the necessary regions, but also gain a global presence, which enables us to provide services at a higher level.

PIN-UP GLOBAL team

Our team consists of strong, goal-oriented people, who are ready for continuous development. Our mission is to grow ecosystem companies and remain an industry leader. We do not follow trends, we create them.

The management of PIN-UP Global teams is based on common values, which is the basis of all processes. They help to effectively interact within the ecosystem and identify ways to improve.

Product development and scaling

We create our own platforms, invest in research and development. We work for the future with our clients. The openness and transparency of our processes provide us with competitive advantages and a leading position in the market. PIN-UP Global is my lifeʼs work. I have knowledge and experience, I understand the markets, I see their strengths and weaknesses. This causes a desire to offer new solutions of even higher quality. This is my personal challenge and I work to achieve it every day.

Plans for 2023 include a full platform upgrade and customization for each client, adding new products and expanding the geography of partnerships. We also have unique developments that, I am sure, will be of interest to many operators. For example, anti-fraud tools – we are working to improve the risk assessment of transactions, using not only conventional approaches, but also machine learning to achieve greater accuracy in preventing fraud at various customer touch points. There is no such product on the market yet.
